The movie "Mulan" stars Liu Yifei, Donnie Yen, Gong Li, Jet Li, Li Jie, An Youxin and others, and is directed by Niki Caro ("The Zookeeper's Wife" and "Whale Rider"). It is adapted from the Disney animation of the same name based on Chinese folk legends. It tells the story of Mulan disguising herself as a man and joining the army in place of her father. The movie "Mulan" will be released on Disney+ in North America on September 4, released in Taiwan, China on September 4, released in South Korea on September 10, and the release date in mainland China theaters is yet to be determined.
