The well-received game "Firewatch" has been confirmed to be adapted into a movie

Another game is about to be adapted into a movie! According to foreign media reports, the "Firewatch" game developed and produced by Campo Santo has been confirmed to be adapted into a movie. The film is currently being produced by Snoot Entertainment, the publisher of works such as "Blindspot".

Snoot Entertainment co-founders Jess Wu Calder and Keith Calder will serve as producers for the film "Firewatch," and Campo Santo co-founders Jake Rodkin and Sean Vanaman will also serve as producers. Details such as the film's cast and release schedule have not yet been announced.

The story of the game version of "Firewatch" takes place in Wyoming in 1989, telling the story of the complex relationship between fire lookout Henry and his boss Delilah. Strange things begin to happen in the forest, and Delilah and Henry decide to uncover the truth behind these disturbing events.

Firewatch was released in 2016 and sold more than 1 million copies by the end of that year. As early as 2016, THR reported that Campo Santo and Good Universe had reached an agreement to adapt Firewatch into a movie.
