Marvel's new film "Captain Marvel 2" has been confirmed to be directed by director Nia DaCosta

Today (August 6), according to foreign media Deadline, the director of Marvel's new film "Captain Marvel 2" has been confirmed. Nia DaCosta, the director of the thriller "Candyman (New Version)", will take over and direct the sequel.

Captain Marvel 2 will shift the story stage from the 1990s in the first film to the modern era. Many superheroes will appear, which may be a major event on the eve of the secret invasion. The scale of the film is equivalent to that of a mini Avengers. Brie Larson stars in the film, and the screenwriter is Megan MacDonald (WandaVision). It will be released in North America on July 8, 2022.
