Although the delay of Cyberpunk 2077 has dealt another blow to players who are looking forward to the game, at least we got some good news today (June 22). CD Projekt Red announced that it will cooperate with the famous Dark Horse Comics to launch the Cyberpunk 2077 comic. The comic is called Cyberpunk 2077: Trauma Team, and the first episode is expected to be released on September 9, which is very close to the original release date of the game. As the name of the comic suggests, Cyberpunk 2077: Trauma Team will revolve around the international company of the same name in the Cyberpunk 2077 game. The Los Angeles-based company is made up of medical personnel who have been professionally trained in combat. They will do anything to protect their clients from harm. As long as they are rich enough to afford the medical insurance of the trauma team, the client will receive a business card and a biochip implant. Once the chip recognizes that there is a problem with the client's body system, it will immediately notify the trauma team to rush to the scene, stabilize the patient's condition and evacuate him. No matter how fierce the war is, rain or shine. The story of the comic will revolve around a trauma team member named Nadia, who is the only survivor of a failed rescue operation. When she agrees to continue working on the subsequent evacuation mission, she and her teammates find themselves in a more dangerous situation. The first volume of the Cyberpunk 2077: Trauma Team comic is 32 pages long and costs $3.99. Judging from the cover, the comic will be released in four volumes. The script was written by Cullen Bunn and the art is by Miguel Valderrama. Before the game is officially released on November 19, you may want to learn more about the story of Cyberpunk 2077 through the comic. |
