It is reported that Paul Giamatti has signed an agreement with Fifth Season, a studio under Apple TV+, to star in the "Hostel" series. Eli Roth, Chris Briggs and Mike Fleiss from the series will also return.

The Hostel series, currently in development and with no confirmed platform, is described as a "modern adaptation" and "upgraded thriller," as well as a "reinvention" of the 2006 horror series that spawned two sequels.

The original film revolved around three backpackers who traveled to a city in Slovakia that promised to meet their hedonistic expectations, but little did they know that the hell that awaited them was just around the corner.
