"Captain Marvel 2" finally broke 100 million box office in China after 9 days of release

According to Maoyan Professional Edition data, the Marvel movie Captain Marvel 2 has grossed over 100 million yuan in China after nine days of release. The production cost of the film was as high as 200 million US dollars.

Captain Marvel 2 grossed only $47 million in North America in its first week, and $110 million worldwide in its first weekend, setting the worst opening record for a Marvel movie in history. Mainland China is the largest market outside North America, earning 84.6 million yuan (11.7 million U.S. dollars) in its first three days.
