Director Gunn confirmed that the first work of the new DC Universe, "Bio Commando", will be broadcast in December 2024

The animated series "Bio Troopers", adapted from the DC comic series of the same name, is the first work of the first phase of "Gods and Monsters" of the new DC Universe created by DC Films. It is directed and written by "Director Gunn" James Gunn.

Although a lot of relevant information including the leading actors has been reported, the specific screening time has not been announced. Recently, "Director Gun" officially announced on the social software "Threads" that "Bio Commando" will be screened in December this year, which confirms the news previously exposed at the 2024 Annecy International Animated Film Festival (will premiere on the Max platform in December).

It is understood that the "Bio Commando" animated series has a total of 7 episodes, telling the story of Amanda Waller (played by Viola Davis) forming a black action team composed of monster prisoners. This supernatural military team consists of super-powered creatures such as a vampire, a werewolf, and a gorgon, and of course a human leader.
