Today (June 14), the first animated film of "Chinese Tales", "Little Monsters' Summer: Once Upon a Time There Was a Langlang Mountain", released a poster and is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2025. The film's producer/art director is Chen Liaoyu, the director is Yu Shui, and the screenwriters are Yu Shui and Liu Jia.

"Little Monster's Summer" is a Chinese-style animation work jointly created by Shanghai Animation Film Studio (abbreviated as "Shanghai Animation") and Bilibili - "Chinese Tales". The entire series of "Chinese Tales" consists of 8 episodes, the chief director is Chen Liaoyu, and the chief producer is Zhang Shengyan. Among them, "Little Monster's Summer" is the first episode, directed by Yu Shui. "Little Monster's Summer" uses the story background of "Journey to the West" to cleverly tell the experience of the little pig demon, a minor supporting character in the classic story.
