Disney plans to film Aladdin spin-off with silly prince as protagonist

Disney plans to film Aladdin spin-off with silly prince as protagonist

According to an exclusive report from foreign media THR today (December 7), Disney is planning to shoot a live-action spin-off of the "Aladdin" movie, the protagonist of which is Prince Anders, an original character in the "Aladdin" movie.

Speaking of which, the character of Prince Anders doesn't have many scenes in "Aladdin". In the movie, he plays a slightly silly and arrogant suitor of Princess Jasmine.

It is reported that actor Billy Magnussen will return to play Prince Anders. The spin-off series will be launched on Disney+ streaming media. It was Magnussen himself who came to the producer with a story idea and started the project.

It should be pointed out that this movie is just a spin-off, not "Aladdin 2". There are reports that the movie "Aladdin 2" is also already in the planning.
