Todd praised the details of the "Fallout" TV series set again: every file is restored

Although some people have mixed feelings about Bethesda, it is undeniable that this is a studio that pays great attention to detail. Both Tamriel and the Wasteland are filled with various gadgets and decorations that add life and color to their worlds, and of course, those classic toilet skulls. So, just imagine how much attention to detail Amazon's "Fallout" TV series needs to be to surprise Todd Howard himself?

In the interview, Howard said that visiting the set of the "Fallout" series was a "surreal" experience. He originally thought that "there would be more movie magic, such as 'They will fake a lot of things, a lot of them will be CG', and then actually face the shelter in the series."

"You walk in and they've built a two-story shelter with real lighting... The attention to detail is incredible." Howard said Fallout production designer Howard Cummings "meticulously translated every detail" so much so that Bethesda even "shared the game files directly, and they 3D printed some things." The set designer even had to apologize for not being able to replicate a hallway exactly to the game's scale.

Howard said his favorite example of the show's fanatical attention to detail came from visiting the vault supervisor's office. "You sit down, and they have all the paperwork, and there's even a note that no one sees, like, to the supervisor." Even the paperwork is organized: "You have a stack of papers, and you flip it over, and there's the electricity report for the vault, and there's the food supply records. I was like, 'They don't even mess with a stack of papers!'"

That attention to detail extends beyond the vault, too. Howard said the wasteland dentist's office is filled with creepy items, like "the most realistic, gross-out teeth" among the pile of junk that viewers might never notice when watching the show at home.

The actors noticed this attention to detail, too. Ella Purnell (who plays the main character Lucy) said in an interview that things like completed paperwork "allow you to do your job better because you can react in real time. You can do some improvisation based on the detailed props around you."
