New cast for the movie "Mortal Kombat": Chin Han Wong and Hiroyuki Sanada join the cast

The new cast of the live-action version of "Mortal Kombat" "Mortal Kombat: Destruction" joins the battle! Singaporean actor Chin Han ("Batman: The Dark Knight") will play Shang Tsung! Japanese legendary movie star Hiroyuki Sanada will play Scorpion (Hasaji Hanzo)!

Previously revealed cast members include Ludi Lin (Black Mirror Season 5) as Liu Kang, Indonesian actor Joe Taslim (Fast & Furious 6, Star Trek 3) as Absolute Zero, Mehcad Brooks (True Blood) as Jackson "Jax" Briggs, Lewis Tan (role unknown), Tadanobu Asano (Thor) as Raiden, Australian rising star Sisi Stringer as Mileena, Josh Lawson as Kano, and Jessica McNamee as Sonya Blade.

The rebooted version of "Mortal Kombat" will be filmed in Adelaide, the fifth largest city in Australia and the capital of South Australia. It will be produced by the famous director James Wan and will be an R-rated work as we all know. It is reported that this new "Mortal Kombat" movie has been in preparation for a long time and will be directed by Australian advertising director Simon McQuoid. This will be his film debut.

The live-action version of "Mortal Kombat" "Mortal Kombat: Destruction" will be released in North America on March 5, 2021.
