Now the official Weibo account of "Shanghai Fortress" has issued an apology statement, saying that it has removed the infringing Weibo, contacted the author to apologize, and actively compensated.

The official apology statement of the movie "Shanghai Fortress" stated that due to negligence, the work shot by the author Shawn Wang was used on Weibo without authorization. The relevant infringing Weibo was immediately removed, the author was contacted to apologize sincerely, and compensation was taken. The film also sincerely apologized to the general public for the large amount of media resources occupied by this incident.

Last night (August 12), Weibo user Shawn Wang revealed that the official Weibo account of the movie "Shanghai Fortress" and its director had stolen his video work on Weibo for movie promotion. Shawn Wang said that he shot the video material from 18:23:13 to 18:24:44 on August 8, using the Wu2 X7 16mm lens, DNG sequence, and video format 6016 x 3200. The original video has a total of 2755 frames and a duration of 1 minute and 31 seconds, and the watermark-free version of the video has not been released on the public platform.

However, the official Weibo account of the movie "Shanghai Fortress" and its director released this video separately for movie promotion. The video watermark was erased and the video source was not marked. Shawn Wang said: "The movie "Shanghai Fortress" is suspected of stealing my work for its movie promotion without my permission by erasing the watermark. I hope that the movie "Shanghai Fortress" will immediately stop using my material, publicly apologize and compensate me."
