The Chinese version of "Midnight Diner" released a food poster with Longjing shrimp and eel rice.

The Chinese version of "Midnight Diner" is scheduled to be released nationwide on August 30. Today, on the occasion of the Chinese Valentine's Day, the film crew released a food poster. There are fried clams with black pepper, Longjing shrimp, eel rice, shepherd's purse wontons, fresh shrimp noodles and chive egg pancakes. Do these six dishes whet your appetite ?

"Midnight Diner" is adapted from the Japanese manga of the same name by Yaro Abe. It tells a heartwarming story about a middle-aged uncle who runs a late-night restaurant and prepares a meal that belongs only to every visiting diner.

The Chinese version of "Midnight Diner" is directed and starred by Tony Leung Ka Fai. It is Tony Leung's directorial debut. The film brings together a super star lineup, including Liu Tao, Tony Yang, Wei Chen, Joyce Cheng, Zhang Yishang, Jin Shijia, Jiao Junyan, Kara Wai, Feng Cuifan, Zhang Li, Liang Jingkang, Du Yuchen, Wang Jingwen, as well as many other actors including Deng Chao, Eddie Peng, Zhang Yibai, Chen Jianzhou, Hao Ping, and Jiang Wenli.
