The Argentine thriller "The End of the Tunnel" is scheduled to be released in mainland China on July 25, adding a bit of "exotic flavor" other than China and Hollywood to this summer season. The movie tells the story of a strange mother and daughter who rent a house at the hero's house. The paralyzed man who sits in a wheelchair takes them in. The hero overhears someone digging a tunnel in the house next door, which seems to be related to bank robbery. He wants to find out what is waiting for him. The film is directed by Rodrigo Grande and stars Leonardo Sbaraglia (Wild Tales, Burning Coins, Pain and Glory). Similar to another Spanish-language film The Invisible Guest that was released in mainland China, the story is thrilling and full of twists and turns. |
