The first trailer of the Italian live-action version of "Pinocchio" will be a dark fairy tale style

The first trailer of the Italian live-action version of "Pinocchio" has been released. The quiet, slightly strange, dark fairy tale style is quite attractive. It tells the story of the puppet boy again. The scene of Pinocchio running and playing in the crowd is inexplicably moving. It will be released in Italy on December 25.

Roberto Benigni (Life is Beautiful) plays Pinocchio's father, the old carpenter Geppetto. This is Benigni's return after 7 years of absence. He has previously directed and acted in a version of Pinocchio. Marcello Fonte, the male lead of The Doghouse, voices the parrot. Garrone has said that this version will be faithful to the original novel.
