Ant-Man accepts invitation and officially joins the cast of Ghostbusters

When something strange happens around you, you might call the Ghost Busters. And when the Ghost Busters need help, they might call Paul Rudd. The Ant-Man actor recently received an invitation from the Ghost Busters sequel crew and agreed to star in the latest Ghost Busters.

The latest Ghostbusters sequel will star new characters played by McKenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard and Carrie Coon, but will also feature returning characters played by Sigourney Weaver, Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd. It will be a direct sequel to the original film and has nothing to do with the reboot directed by Paul Feig.

In this short video, Rudd did not introduce the specific role he will play, but there are many reports that Rudd will play a teacher, but we still don’t know whether he will be a member of the ghost hunting team, a villain, or a passerby haunted by ghosts.

What can be confirmed at present is that the official tentative name of this film is "Ghost Busters 2020". The film is still in the early stages of production and there are many unknown factors, but at least Paul Rudd's talkative temperament is more in line with the style of "Ghost Busters".
