According to foreign media reports, the sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is in production. The film's producer Amy Pascal said in an interview recently, "We are working hard to make a sequel, and you can look forward to the next film."

The plot of the sequel is currently unknown. According to previous reports, Joim dos Santos (Voltron: Legendary Protector) is expected to direct the film. It is reported that a spin-off movie with Gwen Stacy as the protagonist and a spin-off TV series of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse are also in development.
