Netflix has previously announced that "The Wandering Earth" will be translated into 28 languages ​​and broadcast in 190 countries around the world, but the official release date of the film has not yet been determined. Domestic movie fans can also enjoy the Chinese dubbing + English subtitles.

However, according to a recent report by foreign media indiewire, The Wandering Earth has received a cold reception on Netflix. The reason is that most people don’t know that it has been launched on Netflix. Foreign media said that although The Wandering Earth has exploded at the box office, with a global box office of over $700 million, making it the third highest-grossing movie in the world in 2019, there was almost no marketing for The Wandering Earth when it was launched on Netflix.

Although Netflix Asia released an official trailer on April 29, the trailer was not even uploaded to Netflix's US YouTube page, and the film was never mentioned in Netflix's press releases.
