"Sonic the Hedgehog" first released Chinese trailer, released in North America on November 8

Tonight, Paramount's official YouTube channel released the first Chinese trailer for the live-action version of Sonic the Hedgehog. The film uses a combination of live-action performances and computer CG, and is tailored by the production team of Fast & Furious and Deadpool. The live-action film is directed by Jeff Fowler, the director of Gopher, and Tim Miller, the director of Deadpool, serves as executive producer.

Sonic is voiced by Ben Schwartz, Jim Carrey plays the villain Dr. Eggman, and James Marsden plays the male lead. The movie tells the story of a blue hedgehog named Sonic, whose life is often disrupted by Dr. Eggman, a mad scientist who is trying to conquer the world, and Dr. Robotnik, who imprisons animals with remote control devices and steals the magical Chaos Emeralds.

Story outline:

Sonic the Hedgehog is a live-action action-adventure comedy based on the world-famous Sega video game. The protagonist is a household name, a bright blue hedgehog. The film tells the story of Sonic the Hedgehog who accidentally strayed into Earth and his new human friend Tom Wachowski (James Marsden). The two teamed up to try to stop the evil Dr. Eggman (Jim Carrey) from using Sonic the Hedgehog's enormous powers to rule the world.

The live-action Sonic the Hedgehog movie will be released in North America on November 8.
