Hugh Jackman, the Wolverine, and Professor X, Sir Patrick Stuart, who are loved and admired by movie fans, were surprisingly awarded the Guinness World Record for "Longest Career as a Live-Actor Playing a Marvel Superhero Character" in an interview program this morning. During the recording of the British daytime show, Craig Glenday of the Guinness World Records organization surprised the two veteran actors and personally presented them with the world record certificate for "Longest career as a live-action actor playing a Marvel superhero character". Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stuart have both played Wolverine and Professor X for 16 years and 228 days! Both of them made their debut in the 2000 "X-Men" movie and chose to retire at the same time in 2017. Regarding this unexpected surprise, Hugh Jackman said that this was the honor he had dreamed of for many years: "When I was a child, I dreamed of being included in the Guinness World Records." He also revealed that he and his brother had been trying every means to find ways to break the Guinness World Records since they were young, including "the world's longest badminton match" and so on. And old man Patrick Stuart then gave his own congratulatory message: "Congratulations to me and my friend - it looks like you will have one more thing to hang on your wall." In 2017, Hugh Jackman and Jazz both announced their graduation from Marvel and would no longer play the roles of Wolverine and Professor X. Considering the departure of Captain America, they both dedicated a large part of their golden years in their acting careers to their roles, bringing fans the role creation of "you can't live without you". They fully deserve this honor. |
