Vin Diesel may star in Cameron's latest masterpiece "Avatar 2"

As the absolute protagonist of "Pitch Black" and "Fast & Furious", Vin Diesel is the absolute representative of the old-school action male stars. Today, on his official Instagram, Vin Diesel posted a video of him and Hollywood's top director James Cameron, seemingly hinting that he has won a role in the upcoming "Avatar 2".

In this video with Cameron, Vin Diesel said, "There is a person in Hollywood who I have always wanted to work with and learn from." Then Vin Diesel pointed to James Cameron behind him. Vin Diesel also wrote on Instagram, "The journey will continue... Thank you #blessings #Avatar#".

According to veteran actress Sigourney Weaver (Alien, Avatar), Avatar 2 has been approved and the project started filming in 2017. Brendan Cowell was recently hired to join the cast.

If Vin Diesel is not just visiting the set of "Avatar 2" but is actually starring in it, then there is a good chance that he will not only be making a cameo. Vin Diesel also recently starred in the comic book movie "Bloodshot" and is scheduled to start filming the ninth "Fast and Furious" movie in June this year.

James Cameron's latest sci-fi work "Avatar 2" will be released in North America on December 18, 2020.
