The screenwriter for the sequel to "Detective Pikachu" has been confirmed to create a live-action movie universe

Although Detective Pikachu hasn't even hit theaters yet, Legendary Pictures has already hired Oren Uziel to start writing the sequel.

Oren Uziel is the screenwriter of 21 Jump Street and The Cloverfield Paradox. He also contributed to Men in Black International and the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog live-action movie. It seems that Uziel will shine in the field of game-adapted movies. In addition, Uziel has signed a contract with Warner Bros. to write the script for Supergirl for DC Movies.

It seems that Legendary Pictures is very confident in "Detective Pikachu", and the trailer also shows enough fan benefits, and many elves have appeared on the movie screen. However, some of the "high-realism" designs modeled by CGI do look very strange.
