Legendary Pictures and AfterShock Meida have won the film and television rights of the comic, and will bring this comic created by Donny Cates and Jeff Shaw to the screen in the future. This comic is a modern version of a mythological story. There is a widower named Emmett Quinlanm with dementia in West Texas. In order to protect his family and himself, he had to start fighting monsters.

After the launch of this mini-comic, it was well received by comic fans. The authors Jeff Shaw and Donny Cates also switched to Marvel Comics. In January next year, they will work together to present a new version of "Guardians of the Galaxy" comics to fans.
