IGN recently released the rating of the new horror film "The Nun". This horror film directed by Corin Hardy and written by James Wan received a score of 5.5, which is average. The film was released in North America on September 7. IGN editor TOM JORGENSEN believes that "The Nun" gives us a good "Conjuring" history lesson, but it is just a mediocre horror movie. Overall review: As part of the wider world of The Conjuring, The Nun is an entertaining, if uninformative, history lesson in the series, offering fans a lot of disconnects (which need to be connected). On its own, The Nun errs by not delivering any real horror or investing in its characters, instead relying on its powerful imagery and atmosphere, as well as its weird humor. Fans of The Conjuring series are hungry for more knowledge, and The Nun will give them what they want, but if you just want this to be the scariest movie in the series, then keep your fingers crossed. Rating: 5.5 General “The Nun” failed to make a lasting impression. |
