New Predator Movie in Production From Director of Predator: Prey

A new Predator film, Badlands, is in development, with Predator: Prey (2022) director Dan Trachtenberg set to direct.

According to Deadline, 20th Century Studios is looking to expand the Predator universe with the new film, titled Badlands. In addition to directing, Trachtenberg will also co-write the script with Patrick Aison, who previously wrote Prey and the upcoming film Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

The film will be a standalone film in the Predator universe and is scheduled to begin filming later this year.

At this time, plot details and whether the film will be released theatrically or only streamed on Hulu are unknown.
