Tom Cruise signs deal with Warner Bros., Paramount's "Top Gun 3" is still in production

Although Tom Cruise signed a non-exclusive deal with Warner Bros. earlier this week, it looks like he'll be sticking with Paramount for a while longer, with the studio reportedly developing Top Gun 3, with Top Gun: Maverick co-writer Ehren Kruger currently writing a draft of the script.

It is reported that in this project, Tom Cruise will once again work with Miles Teller and Glen Powell of "The Lone Ranger" and producers Jerry Bruckheimer and David Ellison. Joe Kosinski will serve as director or producer.

Tom Cruise is also currently filming Mission: Impossible 8 for Paramount. Universal Pictures is also planning a space movie with NASA, which will be directed by Doug Liman.
