As the third film in the "Spider-Man Universe" animated film series, the production process of "Spider-Man: Beyond the Universe" has always been rather bumpy. Jharrel Jerome, the actor who plays Miles Morales from Earth 42 in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, recently revealed the progress of the work on Spider-Man: Beyond the Universe in an interview with foreign media "Decider". When asked if he has started recording yet, Jarrell Jerome said: "No, I hope so. We haven't started yet. It's a lot of things that are still being figured out, but it's all good things." Spider-Man: Beyond the Universe was originally scheduled to be released in theaters in March 2024, but was postponed indefinitely by Sony in July 2023, and is currently speculated to be released until at least 2026. Sony just announced last month that Bob Persichetti and Justin K. Thompson, who directed and produced the first two films, will return to direct the animated film. |
