Jack Reacher's lead actor wants to play Batman

Warner Bros. announced a new DC movie universe led by James Gunn in January 2023, with the first film being Superman: Legacy, but a Batman movie is also planned. Titled The Brave and the Bold, this movie will be set in a different universe than Matt Reeves' The Batman.

Therefore, neither Robert Pattinson, the star of "The Batman", nor Ben Affleck, the actor who played Batman in "Justice League", will play the role. Fans have proposed their own new casting choices. The most popular actor is Allen Ritchson, who has recently received rave reviews in the American TV series "Jack Reacher", and he himself is also trying his best to win the role.

He told the American comic news outlet The Fortress of Solitude: "There are so many rumors now that I should play Batman. How can I say no to Batman? I would love to play Batman." He then went on to talk about director Kevin Smith's comparison of Batman and Jack Reacher, saying that Jack he plays is "Batman without the cape", and Ritchson agreed with the director's opinion.

He continued: "That's a pretty good analogy actually. But Batman has the Batcave, and Jack doesn't even have a house, he has a toothbrush. I think Batman has a lot of cool stuff. He's rich, he has the Batcave, the mansion, the spotlight that calls him. Batman is way cooler."

Previously, Ritchson actually played Aquaman Arthur Curry in the American TV series "Smallville", so he actually has some fate with DC and superheroes. He also co-starred with the current Aquaman actor Jason Momoa in "Fast and Furious 10".
