Dune 2 confirmed to be introduced to mainland China, release date to be determined

Today (December 14), Dune 2, directed by Denis Villeneuve and starring Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya, was confirmed to be introduced to mainland China. The film will be released in North America on March 1, 2024, and the mainland release date is to be determined.

The script of Dune 2 is based on the novel by Frank Herbert, and is co-written by directors Denis Villeneuve and Joe Spaihts. The producers include Mary Parent, Kyle Poit, Denis Villeneuve, Tanya LaPointe and Patrick McCormick. The executive production team is composed of Joshua Gold, Herbert Gaines, Joe Spaihts, Thomas Doerr, Brian Herbert, Brian Marrett, Kim Herbert, and Kevin Anderson serves as a creative consultant.
