Cage's Lord of War sequel to start filming in Morocco in 2024

According to Variety, the sequel to Nicolas Cage's "Lord of War" will start shooting in Morocco in 2024, with top producer Karim Debbagh joining the cast.

Cage will continue to play the warmongering Yuri in the sequel, Bill Skarsgård (IT, Savages) will play Yuri's son Anton, and director Andrew Niccol will also return.

Lord of War, the 2005 Nicolas Cage-starring film set in the early 1980s that tells the story of Yuri Orlov as he enters the illegal arms trade and eventually becomes a well-known, unscrupulous gun smuggler, grossed just $72.6 million.
