Marvel Studios is reportedly looking for a screenwriter for the upcoming "X-Men" reboot film, which will officially bring the "X-Men" world into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Deadline reports that Marvel is eager to find a screenwriter to write the script for the "X-Men" movie as the Writers Guild of America has reached a preliminary agreement with film studios and streaming companies. Still, reports have also suggested that Marvel is prepared to take its time, as no X-Men movies are officially on the schedule yet. Mutants themselves have already appeared in the Marvel Universe, such as Kamala Khan, who was recently revealed to be a mutant in the streaming series Marvel Woman. Some of the original characters will also return in the Marvel Universe, including Wolverine played by Hugh Jackman, who will star in Deadpool 3 with Ryan Reynolds. Other male characters from the Fox production era are said to be returning, but the specific characters have not been made public. |
