Popular game series Slime Rancher confirmed to be adapted into a movie

According to DEADLINE, the popular game "Slime Rancher" developed by Monomi Park is about to be adapted into a movie.

Reports say the developer is working with Story Kitchen on the adaptation, which has a stellar cast including John Wick creator Derek Kolstad, Sonic the Hedgehog film producer Dmitri M. Johnson, and former APA agent Mike Goldberg.

Story Kitchen is currently producing a number of film and television adaptations of games, including Tomb Raider, Streets of Rage, Master, Splinter Cell, and Idiots.

The film has not yet revealed any further details, such as whether Beatrix Lebeau will continue to be the protagonist of the film. She is the protagonist of the two games in the current series.

Monomi Park co-founder Nick Popovich responded to fans' enthusiasm on Twitter (X), saying he was also "excited."

The second game, Slime Rancher 2, was launched in September last year and is still in the early access stage.
