Analysis: Squid Game 2's revenue is at least 1.5 trillion won, Netflix responds that this is untrue

The second season of the hit Korean drama "Squid Game" released by Netflix has been aired. Although it has received poor reviews and caused the stock prices of some related companies to plummet, its revenue momentum cannot be ignored. Recently, an analysis stated that "Squid Game 2" has generated at least 1.5 trillion won in revenue. Netflix responded on January 1 that this was not true.

Well-known media research institute K EnterTech Hub published a comment on the 1st, estimating that the revenue of "Squid Game 2" will reach at least 1.5 trillion won.

It is reported that the production cost of the first season of "Squid Game" was about 25 billion won, and it finally earned 40 times the profit of 1 trillion won. The production cost of the second season soared to 100 billion won. According to analysis and prediction, the final revenue will exceed 1.5 trillion won.

Netflix quickly responded that this was not true and did not disclose its current revenue and expenditure trends.
