Resident Evil: Dead Island comics will be released on May 19

The manga based on the CG movie of the same name, "Resident Evil: Dead Island," will begin serialization on the COMIC Hu website on May 19, and the movie will be released in Japan on July 7. Below are two excerpts from the manga.

"Resident Evil: Dead Island" is a CG action horror film in the "Resident Evil" series produced in Japan in 2023. This film is the fourth CG film following "Resident Evil: Deterioration" in 2008, "Resident Evil: Curse" in 2012, and "Resident Evil: Blood Vengeance" in 2017.

The film is directed by Eiichiro Hanzumi, who has directed the CG animation series "Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness", and executive produced by Takashi Shimizu, director of the "Ju-Grudge" series. It will be distributed by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and Kadokawa.
