"Escape from the Cretaceous" is scheduled to be released in mainland China on March 31

According to Sina Film, the action thriller "Escape from the Cretaceous" is scheduled to be released in mainland China on March 31. A spacecraft accidentally crashes into prehistoric Earth, and the surviving commander and a girl team up to escape.

The film tells the story of Commander Mills (Adam Driver) who crashes his spaceship and enters the prehistoric Earth 65 million years ago. Faced with all kinds of unknowns in the extreme living environment and the life-threatening pursuit of a wide variety of giant dinosaurs, can he and the girl Koya (Ariana Greenblatt) fight for a way to survive with the future "black technology"?

Directed and written by Scott Baker and Brian Woods, the screenwriters of "A Quiet Place", and produced by Sam Raimi, the director of the "Spider-Man" series of films, the film will be released in North America on March 8.
