"Slam Dunk" new animation movie box office exceeded 10 billion in South Korea and was also popular

The movie "THE FIRST SLAM DUNK" was written and directed by the original author Takehiko Inoue, produced by Toei Animation, and composed by Takebe Satoshi and 10-FEET. It was released in Japan on December 3 and landed in Korean theaters on January 4, quickly topping the box office charts for 12 consecutive days. It also led to a boom in the sales of the comic version, sparking discussions about the improvement of South Korea-Japan relations.

"THE FIRST SLAM DUNK" also became the 13th new member of the 10 billion club of animated films in Japanese film history, following Makoto Shinkai's "The Journey of Bell and Bud".
