"Doraemon" Art Director Masahiro Kawamoto may win Japan Academy Award

Recently, the Japan Academy Film Awards Association announced the winners of the 46th annual Japan Academy Film Awards.

The following creators received special awards from the association in recognition of their support for filmmaking:

· Masahiro Kawamoto (Art Director of Doraemon and Doraemon the Movie)

· Masanobu Amamiya (live-action version of "Ikebukuro West Exit Park", "Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift", "Godzilla vs. Biollante" car stunts)

Yasuhiro Fukuoka (Casting Director of "Detective Conan: Conspiracy on the Horizon")

· Naomi Koike (decoration)

The following are the winners of the Association's President's Encouragement Award, which is given to those who have made outstanding contributions to the Japanese film industry:

・Toshiya Ito (film director of "Lupin the Third: Die! Nostradamus")

· Yuzo Kayama (voice actor of "Ulong Police Station")

· Hideki Mochizuki (Illumination, "Godzilla vs. Destoroyah")

The President's Special Award, which is given posthumously for lifetime achievement, is given to the following recipients:

· Hideo Eunji (Director of "Run to the Earth")

・ Hiroo Matsuda (director and screenwriter of "The Boy Who Saw the Wind")

· Kawamura Mitsurugi (Supervisor and scriptwriter of the live-action version of Kamui Gaiden)

· Iwao Ishii (script)

· Kazuki Omori (Producer)

· Cui Yangyi (editor)

The music team of the "One Piece FILM RED" movie received a special award. The special award is similar to the President's Outstanding Contribution Award and is awarded to individuals or groups who have made outstanding achievements that year.
