Nisio Isin's latest work in the "Gigekotsu" series, "The Blue Scholar and the Gigolo Player's Daughter", will be released on February 8

The latest work of the original author of the "Monogatari" series, Nisio Isin, the 10th work in the "Kimekoto" series, "Abduction of Joke: The Blue Scholar and the Daughter of the Kimekoto Player", will be published by Kodansha on February 8, 2023. The "Nisio Isin Official" Twitter announced the news today (December 16).

"Jigo" is a series of mystery novels written by Nisio Isin. Since the first work "Beheading Loop: Blue Scholar and the Jigoku Player", 9 works have been published so far.

The previous novel, "Totally Overdoing It (Part 2): The Blue Scholar and the Joke Player", was written in 2005 and released in the paperback edition in 2009. This is the 10th new work in the series released after 13 years.

In the new work "Player's Daughter", Kujusugami Shield (the daughter of the heroine Kujusugami Yu and the hero "Ai" in the previous work) will be the protagonist. The theme of this time is "Ancient City x Twins x Headless Corpse", and it will have "Dad's Jokes" and "Mom's Rules".
