Veteran Taiwanese voice actor Lu Peiyu dies, voiced classic anime characters such as Mao Lilan

According to Taiwanese media, veteran Taiwanese voice actor Lu Peiyu has passed away. It is understood that Lu Peiyu's family did not make the news public, and only her good friend Jiang Guijin confirmed the sad news, which also let the outside world know about Lu Peiyu's death.

She has voiced many classic animation characters, including Ran Maoli in Detective Conan (episodes 1-51), Shin-chan's mother Misae in Crayon Shin-chan (episodes 1-222), Doraemon in the VCD version of Doraemon by Giant Children Culture, and Sun Wukong in Dragon Ball (episodes 1-105). In TV dramas, she has voiced Chunxi in The Story of Qianlong 2, Yaoyue Palace Master in Lin Zhiying and Alec Su's version of The Twins, Chunhua, Xiaolian's mother in Legend of the Mermaid, and Youruo and Yan Ying in The Storm.
