According to Sina Films today (September 22), the Slam Dunk theatrical version has been announced to be released in Taiwan, China on January 13, 2023, and in Japan on December 3 this year. The film is directed and written by the original author of the manga, Takehiko Inoue, and the five tigers of Shohoku, including Ryouta Miyagi, Hisashi Mitsui, Kaede Rukawa, Hanamichi Sakuragi, and Takenori Akagi, have returned. SLAM DUNK is a Japanese manga about high school basketball by Takehiko Inoue. It was serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump from 1990 to 1996. There are 31 volumes of the single volume, 24 volumes of the complete edition, and 20 volumes of the newly edited edition. The circulation of the manga in Japan has exceeded 120 million copies. |
