The first stills of the Netflix suspense mystery "Pale Blue Eyes" starring Christian Bale have been released. The film will be released in North America on December 23 and will be available on Netflix on January 6, 2023. In the stills, Bale is holding a kerosene lamp and standing in the thick fog. Judging from the setting, the film is full of Gothic style. The terrified expression on Bale's face also renders the film's horror color. "Pale Blue Eyes" is adapted from the best-selling novel of the same name. It tells the story of a series of murders that occurred at the West Point Military Academy in 1830. Retired detective Augustus Landor (Christian Bale) investigates this. The young cadet who assists him and pays attention to details is Edgar Allan Poe (Harry Melling), who later became a world-famous writer. The film is directed by Scott Cooper (Escape from the Furnace, Crazy Heart) and stars Harry Melling, Gillian Anderson, Lucy Boynton, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Toby Jones, Simon McBurney, Timothy Spall, Robert Duvall and others. |
