Predator: Prey Sets Hulu Streaming Record

The fifth film in the "Predator" series, "Predator: Prey", was released on Hulu last Friday, setting a record for the highest number of views for a movie/TV series premiere on the platform. Platforms outside North America, such as Star+ and Disney+, also broke records for viewing time in the first three days.

The film has a good reputation, with a Rotten Tomatoes rating of 92% and an MTC score of 71, making it the best-received film in the entire Predator series. Critics praised the film for being thrilling, bloody, and suspenseful, and it is one of the best monster movies in recent years. However, the film's score on IMDb, where movie fans gather, is 7.3, which is not as good as the 7.8 of the first Predator in 1987.

The film is directed by Dan Trachtenberg, director of "The Boys", and stars Amber Mindy Sanders and others. It tells the story of the Iron Warrior coming to Earth 300 years ago and fighting against the Comanche Indians.
