Too much exploitation! Special effects professionals accuse Marvel Studios

According to foreign media reports, Marvel Studios has triggered complaints from many special effects workers due to tight deadlines, huge mental pressure, and unsatisfactory final effects. Some people said they would refuse to work with Marvel again, criticizing it for having "the worst visual effects management in the industry" and "the disparity between compensation and workload", and also mentioned that their work and rest schedules and even marital stress have increased significantly due to Marvel work.

In 2018, audiences criticized the quality of the special effects in Black Panther's final battle, and more recently, the first trailer for She-Hulk was rife with controversy, with many fans unhappy with how the character was portrayed on screen.

According to special effects industry media The Gamer, the accusations came from a series of posts on Reddit, where some special effects artists who allegedly worked for Marvel recounted their experiences. The title of the post was "Honestly speaking, I'm tired of working on Marvel TV series!"

"Marvel's production methods and visual effects management are probably the worst, and the pay for special effects artists working on Marvel TV shows is totally disproportionate to the amount of work they do."

"I've been working with Marvel for three years straight, welcome to hell."

"Making Marvel TV series is the reason why I left the visual effects industry. They are terrible clients. I have seen too many colleagues collapse after working overtime, and Marvel is stingy as hell."

"It took me over six months to recover from the stress of WandaVision. It's not worth it. Especially when there are better run projects in the industry that look just as good."
