Directed by the Russo brothers, the directors of Avengers 4, the comic book adaptation movie Electric Nation starring "Little Eleven" Millie Bobby Brown has switched to Netflix. This blockbuster costing $200 million was originally funded by Universal Pictures. In addition to "Little Eleven", "Star-Lord" Chris Pratt has also joined. The film was written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, the screenwriters of "Avengers 4". The duo also just collaborated with the Russo brothers on the Netflix blockbuster "Gray Man", and filming will begin in October this year. Based on the 2018 manga by Simon Stålenhag, Electric Kingdom takes place in a brand new 1997, after a technological collapse has left humanity isolated in their own VR headsets, battling a strange breed of giant combat drones, while a runaway teen (Millie) and her robot travel the West Coast of America. |
