The animated film "Spider-Man: Into the Universe" postponed to June 2023

Sony announced that the animated film "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (Part 1)" has been postponed to June 2, 2023. The film is the sequel to "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" and was originally scheduled to be released on October 7, 2022.

"Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" is divided into two parts. In addition to the postponement of the upper part, the lower part "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (Part 2)" has also been postponed to March 29, 2024.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (Part 1) is the second film in the Spider-Verse series, directed by Joaquin dos Santos, Kemp Bowers and Justin K. Thompson, and written by David Callahanke, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. The main voice actors include Shameik Moore, Jake Johnson, Hailee Steinfeld and Issa Rae.

In "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse", Miles, Gwen Spider-Man, and Peter Parker return, and the style is still novel and avant-garde. The new Spider-Man "Spider-Man 2099", that is, the Latino Spider-Man Miguel in 2099, also officially debuts, and the new character Spider-Woman Jessica will also join.
