The new poster of Thor 4 shows the female Thor holding the broken Thor's hammer

After the new trailer of Thor: Love and Thunder was released, Natalie Portman posted a new poster on Instagram. The person standing on the top of the mountain is not Thor, but Jane Foster, the female Thor, holding the shattered Thor's hammer. The poster is captioned "Do you think you are the only one (Thor)?"

Thor: Love and Thunder is about the God of Thunder embarking on a journey he has never faced before - to find inner peace. But his peaceful life is disrupted by a galactic killer called "Gorr the God Butcher", whose goal is to destroy all gods. To deal with this threat, Thor gets the help of Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) and his ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman). To Thor's surprise, his ex-girlfriend can use his Thor's hammer and become a powerful female Thor. Together, they embark on a thrilling cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher's revenge and stop him before it's too late.

Thor 4 is directed by Waititi and produced by Kevin Feige and Bard Winderbaum. Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson, Jaimie Alexander, Matt Damon, and Taika Waititi, the director of Thor 3, are returning. Christian Bale is joining the cast as the villain Gorr, Russell Crowe and others are also starring, and the Guardians of the Galaxy are also making an appearance. The film will be released in North America on July 8, 2022.
