The movie "Sonic the Hedgehog 2" is confirmed to be released at a later date

Today (April 14), Paramount Pictures' official Weibo account announced that the game-adapted movie "Sonic the Hedgehog 2" will be introduced, with a release date to be determined. Jeff Fowler will return to direct, and Ben Schwartz, Jim Carrey, James Marsden and others will star. The film was released in North America on April 8.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 tells the story of Sonic, who, after settling in Green Hill, is eager to prove that he has what it takes to be a true hero. When Dr. Robotnik returns, he brings a new partner, Knuckles, to find an emerald that has the power to destroy civilization. Together with his own companion Tyrus and others, Sonic embarks on a journey around the world to stop it from falling into the wrong hands.
