According to The Hollywood Reporter, Shawn Levy, the director of "Full Thriller" and "The Adam Project", is in talks with Marvel and is expected to work with Ryan Reynolds again to direct "Deadpool 3". If chosen, Levy would be the third director of the Deadpool franchise. The first film was directed by special effects master Tim Miller, and the second was directed by John Wick director David Leitch. Based on the character created by Rob Liefeld, Deadpool was originally a 20th Century Fox film along with the other X-Men movies. But Disney later acquired 20th Century Fox and its X-Men characters.
