Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City is not the worst game adaptation, nor is it the worst Resident Evil movie, but both standards are low. Director Johannes Roberts does deserve praise for sticking closer to the original game than Paul Anderson's film, but the film is greatly limited by its overly tight narrative, overly rushed third act, and lack of elements that make people feel scared in the dark. But for fans of the Resident Evil games, if you just want to find Easter eggs scattered everywhere, you will have a lot of fun.
