"Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045" is a sequel created by Masamune Shirow after the great success of "Ghost in the Shell: SAC" and returns in the form of a 3DCG animation series. Following "Ultraman", directors Kenji Kamiyama, Shinji Aramaki and SOLA DIGITAL ARTS are working together again. This is the first Ghost in the Shell series presented to fans with a dual director lineup. The animation is co-produced by Production IG × SOLA DIGITAL ARTS.

Currently, the second season of "Ghost in the Shell SAC-2045" will be broadcast exclusively on Netflix in 2022.
